ALOMA CINEMA – Restaurant
Florida's original dine-in cinema, open on Aloma Avenue since 1978 and still independently run across three screens. Guests sit at proper tables and order food straight through the film. The kitchen is led by Adrian Mann, formerly executive chef and owner of Dexter's in Winter Park, and it shows on a menu carrying his Serious Caesar Salad, a Southern dill chicken nuggs sandwich, and the Dexter Special, a pressed sandwich that followed him across town. Beer, wine and cocktails run alongside all of it. Busy screenings can stretch an order towards half an hour. Four decades on, still locally owned.
