ANNA MARIA OYSTER BAR NORTH PORT – Restaurant

Anna Maria Oyster Bar's North Port room is the big one: over 7,000 square feet, 220-plus seats, an indoor-outdoor tiki bar and a raw shucking station working in full view. A forty-foot crab trap hangs overhead, and a chandelier is built from upcycled oyster shells. Order oysters topped with mango pico de gallo or chimichurri, then AMOB fish tacos made with cobia, the Baja chicken breast, a seafood Cobb or a buffalo chicken salad. Chowders and gumbo carry over from the family's other kitchens. Two private rooms, Gulf and Bay, handle groups. On Tamiami Trail, open until ten on weekends.
