AQUATICA – Restaurant

Beach level at the Eden Roc, tucked into a garden of shady palms and tropical flowers, the Aquatica pool keeps its own bar and kitchen. Sofas and picnic tables replace white-tablecloth formality. The bar opens at eleven, food follows half an hour later, and service runs until six. Order the Burgerdilla, a burger folded into a quesadilla; Mexican-style ceviche in spicy tomato sauce with citrus and vegetables; Stop Light Tacos; or a turkey club stacked with pecan-smoked bacon, avocado, swiss and honey truffle mayonnaise. Live music lands Saturdays and Sundays with cocktail specials. Day-pass visitors welcome. Poolside, but properly cooked.
