AREPERA TICOTICO – Restaurant

A small Venezuelan arepa operation in Miami whose whole identity sits in one item: the Super Tico, the loaded arepa everything else on the board is measured against. Below it run simpler builds with beef, chicken, or ham and cheese, an arepa llanera, and two versions wrapped around fried cheese. Sides are tequenos, salchipapas and empanadas filled with chicken, beef, ham and cheese, or the pabellon Super Tico. Passionfruit and mango juices and a cold malta finish the order. Portions land heavy and the corn cakes come off the griddle hot. Straightforward cooking, and entirely confident about being exactly that.
