Bamboo Restaurante holds a Miller Drive corner of Kendall, serving Colombian food from eight in the morning until nine at night, seven days a week. Bandeja paisa is the plate most people come for; sancocho de costilla, ajiaco and cazuela de frijoles cover the soup side. Mains arrive with two sides chosen from rice, red beans, sweet or green plantains and fried yuca, whether entrana, carne asada, bistec salteado, churrasco de pollo Bamboo, pechuga en champinones or mojarra frita. Empanadas, bunuelos, pan de bono and chicharron with arepa open the meal. Table service, a parking lot, and unhurried Colombian hospitality.
