Banyan Golf Club's dining room in West Palm Beach opens onto a patio above the putting green, and lunch there is a members' ritual seven days a week in season. The kitchen leans toward Jewish deli comfort: matzah ball soup, chilled borscht, three cheese blintzes, challah bread French toast, a Hebrew National hot dog. Around those sit a sushi roll of the day, ahi tuna tataki, Gulf shrimp cocktail, the Palm Beach salad and a black Angus burger. The Sunday brunch is a club tradition. Vegetarian and gluten-free items are flagged, and the kitchen works around allergies. Quietly, reliably good.
