Giralda Plaza's longest-running drinking room opened as a beer hall in 1946 and still fills late. The Bar pours ten draughts and more than fifty bottles behind a full liquor rail, then feeds the room properly: wings in Asian or lemon pepper glaze, eight-ounce sirloin burgers, sliders, loaded tater tots, pretzel quesadilla, chicken chili nachos, a veggie burger, and a spinach and quinoa salad for restraint. Local press has repeatedly singled out its bar food and its key lime pie. Regulars share the room with a younger weekend crowd, and the consensus is that everything lands a notch above expectation.
