BARE ROOTS COFFEE HOUSE – Restaurant

Downtown Fort Myers gained a coffee house in early 2026 when Scott and Juliana Zedeker took over the old Bennett's Fresh Roast on the corner of West First Street and Bayside Parkway. The coffee is certified organic specialty and locally roasted; the syrups are made in-house and so are the plant milks, poured fresh rather than out of a carton. Food is the other half: house-made bakery, crepes, sandwiches, soups, salads, acai bowls and protein lunch bowls. Morning-to-early-afternoon hours suit the neighbourhood it was built for. The stated values are kindness, quality and community, and the format backs them up.
