A Main Street bakehouse in Miami Lakes where the pastry counter and the kitchen pull equal weight. Mornings bring a breakfast platter of eggs, bacon and sourdough toast, mini omelettes, a breakfast prosciutto panini, and Belgian waffles under Nutella and banana. Lunch shifts to paninis - prosciutto with balsamic glaze, smoked salmon on sourdough, Philly cheesesteak - plus burgers, guava-and-cheese tequenos, empanadas and a margherita flatbread. Salads lean bright, strawberry and feta with pistachio in white balsamic. Bubble tea, smoothies and espresso keep the counter moving. Cakes are made to order for celebrations. The doors open at eight every morning.
