BEACH DINER – Restaurant

A proper beach-town breakfast counter: open at six every morning, done by half two, with breakfast and lunch served straight through. The Atlantic Beach room fills early with people who order the same thing weekly - a Sunrise Special before eight, a short stack, or a cheddar, Western, Greek or Left Coast omelette. House favourites run to traditional eggs benedict, Eggs on the Bayou, corned beef hash and Atlantic salmon off the grill. Sandwiches include the A.M. Rider and a breakfast burrito; Bubba specials bring fried chicken and waffles. Staff friendliness comes up constantly. Come hungry, come early, tip well.
