BEER & DOGS – Restaurant
Beer and Dogs works a small unit on St. George Street in St. Augustine, and the pairing is exactly what the name promises: gourmet hot dogs against a rotating list of craft beer from local and regional brewers. The board runs a classic dog, a Chicago with sport peppers and celery salt, a New York with sauerkraut, chili cheese, a Mexican with pinto beans and pico, an andouille sausage dog, and the St. Auggie, built on datil sauce, pimento cheese, tomato relish and onion straws. Potato salad, coleslaw, pasta salad and bean-less chili sit alongside. Open daily, later at weekends.
