BELLA ITALIA – Restaurant

A small family-run pizzeria on East Michigan Street in Orlando, Bella Italia sells by the slice and by the pie, New York style up to eighteen inches, plus Sicilian thick crust and a grandma slice. Everything is made to order from scratch, and the kitchen says so plainly. Starters lean generous: garlic zeppoli, garlic knots, fried calamari, buffalo fried shrimp, a combo platter of mozzarella, ravioli and tenders. Wings arrive in ten sauces including one of their own. Salads, strombolis, calzones and pasta fill the rest. Open daily, later on Friday and Saturday. Brick oven pizza, small room, family soul.
