Bench Café – cafe

Bench is the cafe at the Goldsmiths' Centre, three minutes from Farringdon on the corner of Britton Street and Benjamin Street, open weekdays from eight until five and run by Company of Cooks. Coffee comes from Union Hand-Roasted. The kitchen moves with the seasons: colourful salads, handmade quiches, daily hot specials, rich bakes, and after-work sharing platters built on Cobble Lane charcuterie, Paxton & Whitfield cheeses and Paul Rhodes bread. Plant-based dishes run right through. Wine by the glass after work. Walk-in only, no reservations, step-free access, dogs welcome on the terrace. Every purchase backs the Centre's jewellers and silversmiths.
