Restaurant Row's quick-casual answer to a sushi craving. Bento's Dr. Phillips branch occupies Rialto Plaza on West Sand Lake Road, where you order with a cashier, pick a seat, and the food arrives at the table. The menu spans Japan, China, Taiwan and Korea: teriyaki and gochujang grilled chicken, Pao Pao sauce-tossed shrimp, pad Thai, Thai yellow curry, Vietnamese Cajun fried rice, and bento boxes pairing an entree with rice, lo mein and vegetables. Sushi runs from Cali rolls to the seared-tuna TNT. Regulars come for the boba and the late kitchen, open until eleven on weekends. Fundraisers run here.
