BIG NICK'S BBQ – Restaurant

The original Southwest Florida outpost sits on Cypress Lake Drive and works as a drive-thru and takeout counter rather than a dining room, a format that suits barbecue this patient. Meats are smoked in house for as long as sixteen hours at two hundred degrees, then carved to order. Brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, barbecue turkey, St. Louis ribs and smoked wings come as platters or sandwiches, with smashburgers for anyone wanting a break from the pit. Sides include hushpuppies, waffle fries, baked beans, green beans, coleslaw and brisket mac and cheese. A second location later opened in Cape Coral.
