BLUE DOOR – Restaurant
A small dinner-only room on South Dixie Highway, The Blue Door cooks with a Mediterranean accent and a light hand. The opening pages lean vegetable-forward: beets and cucumber under whipped feta, pistachio and sumac; halloumi with leeks, broccolini, spinach, olives and preserved lemon; a Mediterranean dip served with pita, nut gremolata and crudites. Sourdough toast arrives layered with anchovy, egg, tomato and dill. Larger plates include octopus with potato confit and paprika aioli, crab cakes with remoulade, flat-iron half chicken with maitre d' butter, and a burger with aged cheddar and house sauce. Reservations run Wednesday through Sunday evenings only.
