BLUE POINTE OYSTER BAR – Restaurant

A raw bar, a lounge and a wide outdoor patio give Blue Pointe Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers three different ways to spend an evening. Fish comes from the North Atlantic, the Pacific, the Great Lakes and the Gulf, and the kitchen handles it plainly and well: freshly shucked oysters and clams on the half shell, Point Judith calamari, blackened grouper bites, Jonah crab stuffed avocado, steamed Blue Hill Bay mussels. Mains run to miso glazed Chilean seabass, Chesapeake Bay lump crab cakes, seafood paella, twin lobster tails. Key lime pie closes it out.
