Bodega Burger | בודגה בורגר – hamburger_restaurant

A kosher American diner on Carlebach Street, run by a chef who came up in Jerusalem, where the burgers are smashed thin on the plancha and the buns are baked to order. Kashrut forces the invention here: lamb bacon stands in for pork, vegan cheddar for dairy, and the pickles are made in house. Beyond the classic single, double and triple, there is a SoCal with chili beef and pickled peppers, a K-town with kimchi and sriracha mayo, and a New York pastrami build with coleslaw and mustard. Chili-cheese fries, onion rings, Dr Pepper. American accents behind the counter, deliberately.
