Aharoni's runs a butcher counter and a restaurant in the same room — you can buy the beef or let them cook it, and at the Ganei Tikva branch in the Urban Tzim centre most people do the latter. The kitchen is built around fresh Israeli beef and a rotisserie: spit-roasted chicken in two seasonings, a butcher-ground hamburger, crispy fried chicken, a chicken burger, schnitzel sandwiches, Asian-glazed wings and chicken salads. Staff are pitched as guides rather than order-takers, walking you through cuts and sauces. A butcher shop that decided to feed you on the spot.
