BORSALINO CAFE – Restaurant

Borsalino keeps daylight hours on South University Drive in Plantation, opening at eight and closing mid-afternoon. It is a brunch room, unapologetically. Omelettes are the specialty: burrata open-faced with cherry tomatoes and balsamic, farmers with pork belly and roasted peppers, four-cheese, and a Greek with feta and kalamata olives. Sweeter mornings bring Nutella pancakes, croissant Nutella french toast with flambeed banana, overnight oats in almond and pistachio milk, and a Montecristo with black forest ham. A breakfast platter covers the savoury side. After three, pasta and flatbreads appear. Cold-pressed juices and a lavender latte come off a serious coffee counter.
