Mulberry's first porchetta shop works a counter inside Depot 303, the food hall that opened on NW 1st Avenue with eight kitchens sharing one bright room of white walls, natural wood tables and tall windows. The signature is Italian roast pork on mezzo doppio, a bread that splits the difference between focaccia and baguette, layered with porchetta, crackling and a herb salsa verde. Italian beef sandwiches sit alongside it. The concept comes from the chef behind Ichicoro Ramen in Tampa. Order at the stall, take any seat you like, and stay late: the hall runs until ten on weekend nights.
