BOXER – Restaurant

Clearwater Beach doesn't lack for bars, but few of them keep a kitchen going until two in the morning. The Boxer does, then runs a late-night menu from eleven until close. Appetizers are the heart of it: Pigs & Peppers, bacon-wrapped jalapeno halves stuffed with cheddar jack; Boxer Balls of corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss, fried and dropped in thousand island; Cuban egg rolls with garlic mojo aioli. Coastal crab cakes come under pineapple mango salsa. Beyond that, smashburgers, tacos and salads, plus ten jumbo wings in eight sauces. Live music, doors open till three. Coastal, loud and gloriously unhurried.
