BRADENTON COUNTRY CLUB – Restaurant

Member dining at a private golf club on Ninth Avenue West, split between indoor rooms, poolside tables and a covered outdoor patio. The kitchen keeps things broad and unfussy: French onion gratinee under melted Gruyere, boom boom shrimp, beef empanadas with ancho chipotle sauce, a filet and wedge salad piled with tobacco onions. Handhelds run to a double-patty smash burger, a Philly cheesesteak on a toasted hoagie, a corned beef Reuben. Pizzas are built to order, including a Reuben pie on a Thousand Island base. BYO Pizza runs Tuesday through Saturday. Trivia nights and wine dinners fill out the calendar.
