Steaks hit a 1,600-degree broiler at Brimstone Woodfire Grill, the modern American steakhouse anchoring Shops at Pembroke Gardens with cuts, seafood, sushi and a long cocktail list. Order filet mignon, New York strip, bone-in ribeye, Delmonico or skirt steak chimichurri, finished Oscar style or blue cheese crusted, with jalapeno mac and cheese or garlic mashed alongside. She-crab bisque and burrata heirloom open the meal. Weekend brunch, eleven to three, brings shrimp and grits, Nutella challah French toast, birria grilled cheese and skirt steak with eggs. Happy hour runs weekdays four to seven, with DJs Friday and Saturday nights. Reservations recommended.
