County Road 210 is not where you would expect a serious New York pie, which is rather the point. Bronx House fires its dough in a gas-fired brick oven at 550 degrees and sends out pizza it insists is New York, not New York style. Specialty pies run to the Big Al, the Butcher Shop and the Chicken Parm Pizza, while the Blue Steel deep dish arrives double fermented in squares. Heroes, calzones, spicy penne vodka, baked ziti, chicken parmigiana and Nonna's meatballs fill the rest of it. Cauliflower crust covers gluten-free orders. Diners keep returning for that crust alone.
