BROWN BAG DELI OF TAMPA – Restaurant

A Cherry Palm Drive deli that runs on one joke, and the joke lands: nearly everything is named for somebody. Light lunches go by Doc, Sleepy, Dopey, Grumpy and Bashful. The deli board fields the Million Dollar Round Table, the Malcolm S. Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, the Madison Avenue, the Bossy Bird and the Office Ham. Hot orders bring a Philly cheese steak, the Chicken-O-Philly, a Cuban, gyro-lamb and a meatball parmigiana hoagie. Even the salads get names, Peter Rabbit, Aristotle Onassis. Breakfast means eggs, omelets and pancakes. Weekdays only, seven until two. Eat in or take the bag.
