BUCCAN RESTAURANT – Restaurant

Clay Conley's dining room on South County Road has been Palm Beach's answer to the small-plate restaurant since it opened, and it still fills nightly. The kitchen works across borders: hamachi tiradito with Peruvian chiles and yuzu, short rib empanadas, a spicy pork taco, lion's mane shawarma with schug and warm pita. Pastas are made in-house, sweet corn agnolotti with bacon and espelette butter, squid ink orecchiette with conch and Italian sausage. Larger plates run to tandoori-marinated swordfish and a dry-aged Duroc pork tomahawk. Conley is a James Beard Award nominee and the restaurant is recommended in Florida's Michelin guide.
