Caerus Specialty Coffee + Bistro – cafe

A Metro Manila third-wave coffee bar that eats like a proper bistro, with a Quezon City original and a second room on level five of The Podium. Breakfast is the strongest suit: three caramelised longganisa with garlic rice, crisp boneless Bonuan bangus, classic beef tapa, ube champorado drizzled with condensed milk and topped with dried fish. Later come calamares, gambas al ajillo, sizzling sisig, beef salpicao and wings tossed in honey soy butter garlic. Pastas and Filipino plates share one page without apology. Laptops open early and stay open. The room is calm enough for work, lively enough for lunch.
