Croquetas come out crisp, filled with cured ham or Spanish chorizo, two dollars apiece. Daily plates arrive with three sides: picadillo, bistec de res or de puerco, chuleta ahumada, pollo a la plancha, and lechon asado slow-roasted in sour orange, garlic and spice. Sandwiches run Cubano, media noche, croqueta preparada and pan con lechon. Mornings bring omelettes and huevos rancheros. Batidos, fresh fruit juices and flan close the day out.
