CANOPY ROAD CAFÉ – Restaurant

Tallahassee's breakfast habit, six cafés across the city, every one of them open 6:30am to 2:15pm seven days a week and every one first-come, first-served. The kitchen takes diner standards and bends them: country fried steak under sausage gravy, house corned beef hash, an ultimate breakfast burrito with chorizo and ranchero sauce, rolled omelettes named Goat in the Garden and the Irish, skillets built on home fries. Griddle plates go further — blueberry cobbler cakes, churro waffle, strawberry cheesecake French toast. Lunch brings smashburgers, the Dagwood, a Palm Beach club. No reservations. Dogs are welcome out on the shaded patio.
