A waterfront resort on the Gulf side of North Roosevelt, far enough from Duval Street that you hear water instead of crowds. McKee's Tiki Bar does the heavy lifting: a poolside room open daily from eleven until eight, serving spicy plantain chips with smashed guacamole, smoked fish dip under pickled red onions, Key West conch fritters with spicy remoulade, fish tacos, a burger and whatever came in as catch of the day. Key lime pie, obviously. Mornings belong to the Beach Market Cafe, where cold brew meets avocado toast, acai bowls, grain bowls and smoothies built with a protein add-on.
