CAPTAIN HOOK'S SUSHI /PHO/THAI – Restaurant

Three cuisines share one roof at the corner of Veterans Parkway and Santa Barbara Boulevard in Cape Coral: Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese, run side by side rather than blended. The pho broth simmers at least eight hours before it reaches a bowl, and the kitchen says roughly ninety-five percent of the menu is made from scratch. Signature rolls carry the theme: American Dream stacks yellowfin and salmon under lobster and blue crab, The Pirates goes shrimp tempura, the Firecracker arrives jalapeno-topped. Beyond the sushi bar sit pad thai and sumo yaki soba. Freshly cut sashimi as well. No better crew.
