Carrot Express was born on Miami Beach, inside a gas station, back in 1993, and the brand still keeps two storefronts on the island. The pitch has not changed: real food, made to order, from breakfast through dinner. Expect crunchy avocado toast, the Scrambled with pasture-raised eggs, La Mexicana salad with black beans, tortilla strips, avocado and honey-lime vinaigrette, the chicken Caesar wrap, poke and salmon Buddha power bowls, plus smoothies, freshly squeezed juices and wellness shots. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free items run right through the list. Bright casual rooms, counter ordering, plus takeout and delivery for the beach crowd.
