Trading as Castaway Waterfront Restaurant & Sushi Bar, at mile marker 48, oceanside at the end of 15th Street, this Marathon room dates to 1951, when it was the place for beer and shrimp steamed in it. That pound of peel-and-eat is still on the card. Alongside sit royal red shrimp enchiladas in roasted poblano sauce, blackened mahi Baja tacos, shrimp and grits, housemade blue crab cakes, and a sushi counter that works invasive local lionfish into its King of the Jungle roll, filmed for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Thirty-two taps, raw oysters, dockside seating. Breakfast through dinner, seven days.
