Minutes from Miami International, Catch of the Day has been working the same corner since 1998: a casual, family-run seafood bar and grill built on big portions, a patio and a wall of screens for whatever game is on. The kitchen fries whole red snapper until the fins crisp, stacks the minuta snapper sandwich, and sends out seafood paella, parrillada de mariscos and cazuela de mariscos alongside oysters on the half shell and fish and chips. Happy hour runs through the afternoon; live music takes the patio Thursday to Sunday. Weekends go on until midnight. Unfussy, generous, and thoroughly Miami.
