CHARCOALS LATIN GRILL – Restaurant

A charcoal-fired Latin steakhouse operating at Dolphin Mall out in west Miami, and a genuinely useful thing to find in a shopping centre. Everything points at the grill. Churrasco is the signature, cut from vacio and charbroiled to order; picanha, entrana and a twelve-ounce ribeye sit alongside it, each served with two sides. There are Havana Club platters of achiote-marinated pork with cassava fries and cabbage salad, half-pound Angus burgers, beef and chicken fajitas, and starters of queso frito, mozzarella sticks and fish fingers. Portions run large, the pricing is aimed squarely at families, and the chimichurri does real work.
