CHARLEYS CHEESESTEAKS – Restaurant

Tallahassee holds two Charleys counters, one in Governor's Square Mall and one at Westend Square, and both run the brand's grilled-to-order line. Steak or all-white-meat chicken is chopped on a flat-top with onions, peppers and mushrooms, melted with cheese, then packed into a toasted roll. The Chicken California keeps things simple with provolone and ranch; the Pit Boss BBQ goes cheddar, grilled onions and barbecue sauce. Fries come original, cheese-topped, or loaded into a hot box with steak and cheese sauce. Wings arrive by the half-dozen or the fifty. Lemonades use real fruit. Cheesesteaks come first; everything else comes second.
