The restaurant inside a historic Coral Gables hotel on Ponce de Leon Boulevard trades as Mylos, open from seven in the morning until eleven at night, seven days a week, holidays included. The cooking is Greek and Mediterranean and unfussy about it: gyro platters and pita wraps, chicken souvlaki bowls, moussaka, pastitsio, lamb chops, grilled octopus, calamari, saganaki, spanakopita, dolmades, loukaniko and a properly built Greek salad. Seafood pasta and a salmon bowl widen the range, and baklava closes it out. Hotel guests can have it sent up, but the dining room and bar are open to anyone walking in.
