CHEDDAR'S CASUAL CAFE – Restaurant
West International Speedway Boulevard, a short run from the racetrack, and the kitchen here does its own prep. Cheddar's sends out warm honey butter croissants first, then hand-breaded chicken tenders, Santa Fe spinach dip, Wisconsin cheese bites and queso fries. Mains are American comfort at length: homemade chicken pot pie, country fried steak, homestyle meatloaf, baby back ribs, top sirloin, grilled salmon, Key West chicken and shrimp. The bar mixes hand-crafted lemonades and an oversized Painkiller, limited to two a guest. Weekday lunch specials, a classic cheeseburger among them, run until three. Doors open at eleven. Plenty, for not much.
