CHINA ONE – Restaurant
Next door to the Winn-Dixie on Lockwood Boulevard, China One calls its food New York style Chinese and runs about two hundred items to prove it. Combination platters arrive with roast pork fried rice and an egg roll. The noodle section splits into ho fun and mai fun, Singapore included, and there are potstickers in chicken or vegetable alongside the usual krab rangoon and boneless spare ribs. Mongolian chicken, bourbon chicken, honey chicken and chicken with eggplant give the mains some range. Miso soup and roast pork yat gaw mein are the two surprises. Closed Mondays, open late at weekends.
