CHINA STAR II – Restaurant

China Star II works the East Main Street strip in Shrub Oak, delivering inside a four-and-a-half-mile radius and doing pickup for everyone else. Its spa menu is the giveaway that someone thought about it: steamed chicken, shrimp, triple and seafood combinations, brown and low-fat sauce served on the side. Japanese-style soups and udon sit alongside the chow fun, mei fun and moo shu. Wonton soup, chicken with broccoli, General Tso's, sesame chicken, barbecued spare ribs and shrimp fried rice do the heavy lifting. Party trays come in medium and half pans, running from chicken lo mein to boneless spare ribs.
