CHINA TOKYO EXPRESS – Restaurant

The name is not decoration: this Milton Street counter in Cape Coral runs a Chinese card and a Japanese one side by side. Edamame, shrimp tempura, kani salad, seaweed salad and miso soup sit beside krab rangoon, chinese sweet donuts and a pu pu platter of egg rolls, teriyaki skewers, spare ribs and wings. Chef's specials cover general tso's, sesame, orange, bourbon and pineapple chicken, plus happy family. Noodles come as lo mein, mei fun or chow fun; the wings and ribs can be paired with any of six fried rices. Steamed diet plates for anyone being careful about it.
