CLASICA VICTORIA – Restaurant

A bakery, cafe and market rolled into one corner of Sunset Drive, Clasica Victoria carries recipes Victoria Galindez inherited in Buenos Aires and brought to South Miami. Mornings bring eggs Benedict on sourdough, seasonal omelettes, avo croast, croque monsieur and Victoria's French toast with berry compote and mascarpone. Lunch turns to halloumi salad with sweet potato and lentils, a Mediterranean sandwich of sumac eggplant and walnut pesto, top sirloin on focaccia, quiche and soup. Pastries, tarts and cakes fill the counter; cheeses and cured meats fill the market shelves. Sunday adds a two-person tower of petit fours and finger sandwiches.
