COOL BEANS BARBEQUE AND CATERING – Restaurant

Keith and Tanya run their barbecue out of a smoker trailer based in Bunnell, and the meat is the whole argument. Hand-selected cuts get a ten-ingredient dry rub, then hours over hardwood and fruit wood, spritzed with fruit juice to hold colour and moisture. Brisket is the one people chase, sliced tender enough that regulars keep saying it needs no sauce; pulled pork, smoked chicken and pork belly burnt ends follow close behind. Platters and sandwiches come with two sides from the homemade baked beans, macaroni salad, coleslaw and mac and cheese. Weekdays until five, Saturdays from nine, closed Sundays.
