COUNTY LINE SMOKEHOUSE – American
An old brick smokehouse found unused behind a shed gave this Weirsdale bar its name and its purpose. Since December 2017, County Line has run slow-cooked meat through it: signature St. Louis ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork plates, smoked chicken, burnt ends, and Weirsdale wings tossed in anything from garlic parm to Thai chili. Sandwiches include the Beast, a smoked Cuban, a Philly, and a mahi BLT. Breakfast starts at seven daily, biscuits and gravy included. Full bar, pool tables, bands, and a big outdoor porch, halfway between Lake Weir and The Villages. Doors stay open until midnight, every night.
