CRAIGS CAFE AND BAKERY – Restaurant

A Venezuelan-leaning cafe and bakery in a Hialeah Gardens plaza, open seven days and serving breakfast all day. Three eggs any style arrive with Cuban toast and cafe con leche; there is pan con tortilla, a breakfast croissant, French toast, and steak and eggs cut from picana. Cachapas are the signature: sweet corn pancakes folded around queso de mano and finished with nata, or with picanha or pulled pork. Sandwiches run Cuban, tuna melt, chicken Philly and Craig's Deluxe with grilled picana and cilantro sauce. Bowls, pastas and burgers too. The case holds cachitos, golfeados, guava pastries and tres leches.
