PEPITO AREPA'S BAR – Restaurant

Pepito's Arepa Bar is Venezuelan cooking built around the griddle - corn arepas split and stuffed to order, everything made, as the menu puts it, by Venezuelan hands. The lineup covers the classics by name: La Pelua with shredded beef and cheese, La Catira with chicken, the avocado-chicken Reina Pepiada, and the Pabellon layered with steak, plantain and black beans. Cachapas, tequenos, empanadas and pepito sandwiches on baguette fill out the rest. Regulars come for the fillings, which are generous to the point of structural failure. Order extra napkins and don't wear white.
