CUBA LIVES RESTAURANT – Restaurant

All-you-can-eat, and Cuba Lives means it. Opened in 2016 on West 12th Avenue in Hialeah, the room is built around stations rather than a menu: a fruit bar, a vegetable bar with roasted peppers and pickled vegetables, mixed salads of potato and egg, papa con chorizo, pico de gallo and chicken salad, then a ceviche bar running fish and shrimp. The hot line carries bistec de res, grilled pork, breaded milanesa, stuffed peppers, congri, arroz imperial, fufu de platano, picadillo, masas de cerdo and lechon asado. Soups, breads and desserts follow. Weekday lunch is a fixed price until half three.
