CVI.CHE 105 DADELAND – Restaurant

Dadeland Mall's CVI.CHE 105 is where South Miami goes for ceviche, and the kitchen keeps a full Peruvian card rather than a mall-sized one. The leche de tigre comes in half a dozen registers: classic and limey, smoked rocoto in the Pimentel, yellow pepper in El Misterioso, and Nikkei in the tuna tartare. Start with papas a la huancaina or the arroz con pollo spring rolls, then anticuchos of veal heart or filet mignon. Nikkei rolls, scallops under parmesan and Peruvian oysters round it out. Pisco sours and chilcanos pour all evening. Chef Juan Chipoco's Miami group runs the place.
