DECK DOWN UNDER (THE) – Restaurant
Tucked under the Dunlawton Bridge on the Halifax River, Our Deck Down Under has spent about two decades feeding Port Orange locals and anyone arriving by boat. There are docks, and there is no dress code at all. Sit inside or take the outdoor deck for the Intracoastal view. The kitchen smokes its own mahi for the fish dip and its own baby back ribs, and cooks to order: conch fritters, grouper fingers, New England clam chowder, steamed oysters and clams, spiced shrimp, sea scallops, and a crab trap sandwich of crab cake between two blackened fillets. Sunsets are included.
